stopping green fodder for buffaloes

Dear baramati staff,

We are running a dairy farm for about 9 months with 35 buffalos.

one month back we stopped  giving green fodder for our animals because of cost. we increased concentrate insted of green fodder. The milk production is satisfactory.

I want to know is this a good practice. If not what are the problems we will face in the future.  Please suggest some thing

thank you
